My Background:

I am a Topeka native, born and raised here. I received my first camera in 1986 and have never stopped clicking. I graduated from Washburn University with a degree in Sociology. I previously worked for two local corporations before becoming a stay at home mom in 2002.

You’ve heard this before but it’s my story too. I took my boys to mall photographers but the quality wasn’t there.
I took better pictures at home of my kids, capturing their true personalities. I had the eye but not the right tools at the time.

Then my daughter came along and I had the right camera for some good shots of her and the boys but I still had a lot to learn on the technical side.

So here we are in the present... I have invested in my business and now I’m taking shots of others and loving my job!

My personal life:

I love, love, LOVE taking pictures of my kids and pets. I’ve now turned what I love into a business and could not be happier. Besides loving my children, I love pumpkin patches, my dogs, flowers, taking my kids places they’ve never seen and playing in the park. When not hanging out with my kids and doing their activities I love to knit, read, take nature walks and dream. Did I mention I love taking pictures?
